U12 Travel Team Selection Process
NOTICE
This team does have a roster max due to Moose Jaw League rules to ensure that fair play is attainable.
The maximum number of players on this team is 35, however if we get to 44 players, we will have 2 teams.
The selection process that our board has decided to use for our initial year in the league will be to prioritize grade 6 players so that they can get experience playing in this league before they make the jump to U14. From there the remaining spaces will be filled with the grade 5s who signed up in a first come first serve manor.
Before we make any cuts we will do what we can to try and create two teams rather than cutting players for 1.
If your player does happen to not be selected to play for the team, you will be asked to play house league and we will refund the difference in registration fees. If you are not selected for the team and want to take the season off of football we will refund you the full amount.
Note - this only applies to players that signed up inside the registration deadlines, any player that signs up after August 1st will only be added to the roster if all players who signed up inside the deadline has already made the team.
