U14 (Ages 12 & 13) Tackle Division

Practices

Monday - Friday from 5:15-7:00pm.  Practices will drop to Monday - Thursday after first league game.

1st practice is August 19th (tbd)

Registration Fees

2024 fee $350

Age Requirement

Grade 7 or 8 for the fall of 2024

Age Exceptions

Players that are 14 years old as of Dec 31, 2023, but still in Grade 8, will be allowed to play in the U14 Division. Please contact registration@scmf.ca to register if this is your situation.

Travel

U14's will be a part of the Moose Jaw Minor Football League and the players will travel to Assiniboia, Estevan, Moose Jaw and Weyburn. 
*** NOTE: Parents will be responsible for transporting their child(ren) to and from games.  If unable to do so families will be responsible for making travel arrangements with another family or coach.

Equipment

The majority of all required football equipment is provided by SCMF and included in your player fees. Equipment included: helmet, shoulder pads, pants, girdle, belt and mouth guard.  Each player will be responsible for providing their own practice jersey and footwear.  Football cleats are recommended (no metal cleats) but rubber sole cleats or running shoes are acceptable footwear.

Refunds 

 Prior to the first league game, a $50 administration fee will be withheld.  After the first game, half of the fees will be withheld.  After the second game, no refunds will be given.
